Cambodia Gears Up for High School Graduation Exams with Over 150,000 Candidates

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has strongly urged candidates to accurately check their exam locations, seat numbers, and room numbers ahead of the high school graduation qualification exams (Baccalaureate) scheduled to commence on August 10th. The ministry is advising candidates to consume nutritious meals, get sufficient rest, and strictly adhere to the internal regulations of the examination. On August 9th, examination centers nationwide, totaling 244, posted lists again to allow candidates to conduct a final verification of their seat and room numbers. This follows an initial posting of the candidate list on August 3rd and is considered a crucial step for candidates to confirm their assigned examination venues. This year's examination has a total of 151,238 registered candidates, of whom 84,735 are female. Candidates in the Science stream number 37,445 (22,193 female), while those in the Social Sciences stream total 113,793 (62,542 female). The written examinations will take place from August 10th to 11th, with scoring and verification to be conducted by computer from August 13th to 19th. The examination results are scheduled to be announced on September 2nd at examination centers across the country. These high school graduation qualification exams represent a significant milestone in Cambodia's education system and are a focal point of attention for both the government and the public, as they determine the future pathways for the nation's youth.
