Prey Veng Province to Repair Key Economic Road to Border Gate

In Prey Veng Province, southeastern Cambodia, plans are underway to repair Provincial Road 330, a crucial economic route connecting the provincial capital to the Vietnamese border. On September 4th, Governor Suon Somalyne led a team of relevant technical officials to personally inspect the condition of Provincial Road 330, which stretches over 20 kilometers from the National Road 1 at the Srok An Daek market to the Svay Angong border gate. The inspection was conducted with the objective of formulating a plan for the repair and improvement of this section of the road. This initiative is expected to facilitate smoother travel and goods transportation for the residents. The aforementioned road section is considered a highly important economic route, but it is currently suffering severe damage, causing significant difficulties for both local residents and those transiting through the area. Through this on-site inspection of the actual situation, the provincial administration anticipates that the repair and development of this road will commence promptly. The aim is to ensure smooth traffic flow and to enhance the living standards and economic growth of the local population. Following the inspection of Provincial Road 330, the Governor also visited the Svay Angong border gate and the Peam Monta regional gate to observe the living conditions of the officers stationed there.
