How to Search and Submit Claims for Martyrs' Relatives on the VNeID App

The VNeID application, Vietnam's national identification and electronic authentication platform, has integrated a feature enabling users to search for information on martyrs and submit claims of kinship. This new functionality allows citizens to find details about fallen soldiers, file applications to confirm their familial connection, and monitor the progress of these submissions. Developed and implemented by the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06) under the Ministry of Public Security, the VNeID app provides an official search channel. This facilitates the public's access to martyr information and streamlines the process of identifying oneself as a relative and tracking the status of such claims. To utilize the feature, users must log in to the VNeID app with a Level 2 electronic identification account. From the homepage, they should select 'Other Services,' followed by 'Martyr Kinship Connection.' The next step involves choosing 'List of Martyrs' to initiate a search. Users can then enter available family information, such as the martyr's full name and place of origin. Upon clicking 'Search,' they can refine their input if necessary by selecting 'Refresh.' When a matching result is found, users select 'Details' to meticulously verify each piece of information. Once the relationship is confirmed, they proceed by selecting 'Claim Kinship.' The application requires users to input a contact phone number and upload clear, complete photographic evidence of supporting documents. After reviewing the entered information, a final 'Confirm' click submits the request. A success message, 'Request sent successfully,' indicates the system has received the application. Users can continue searching or return to the homepage. To track results, they can access 'List of Kinship Claims' and select individual requests to view processing status, detailed information, and submitted documents. C06 emphasizes that each accurate piece of information and complete document submitted is a practical contribution to the mission of connecting martyrs with their relatives.
