Massive Fire Engulfs Diaper Factory in Hanoi Outskirts, Firefighting Efforts Ongoing
A massive fire broke out at a diaper production facility in Son Dong village, Hanoi, on the evening of September 23rd. Flames quickly engulfed the entire factory, creating a towering column of smoke tens of meters high. Over ten fire trucks have been mobilized to combat the blaze, and a portion of the factory has collapsed. Information regarding casualties and property damage is currently under investigation.

Due to the presence of numerous flammable materials inside the factory, the flames spread rapidly, engulfing the entire structure and generating a massive smoke column tens of meters high. At least 10 fire trucks from the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department for Rescue and Salvage, Regions 15 and 23, along with dozens of firefighters, were dispatched to the scene. As of 10:30 PM, authorities were still actively engaged in firefighting operations, using water cannons. A portion of the factory has since collapsed.
