National Assembly Party Committee to Establish Research Unit

The Standing Board of the National Assembly's Party Committee has approved the establishment of a specialized research unit. This initiative is seen as a crucial step to enhance the committee's research and advisory capacity, ensuring the effective implementation of directives from the Politburo and the Party Central Committee's Secretariat. Vietnam, operating under a one-party system led by the Communist Party, prioritizes economic growth as a key national objective. Consequently, modernizing the Party's ideological work and promoting parliamentary digital transformation have become pressing priorities. The establishment of this research unit is considered a measure to strengthen the foundation for addressing these challenges. Vietnam and Germany are actively boosting cooperation in areas such as lawmaking and parliamentary digital transformation, with efforts to enhance collaboration at the National Assembly level. This move to refine domestic policy-making processes, alongside advancements in international cooperation, signifies Vietnam's commitment to improving its national governance capabilities.
