Ex-Paramedic Faces Arrest Warrant for Allegedly Crashing Car into Ex-Girlfriend and Her Companion

Police in Bangkok are preparing to issue an arrest warrant for a former paramedic suspected of intentionally crashing his vehicle into his ex-girlfriend and her male companion, killing them both. The incident occurred early on September 3rd in the jurisdiction of the Prachachuen Police Station. The victims have been identified as 28-year-old former paramedic Songpol, his 24-year-old ex-girlfriend Narissa, and 45-year-old Jettaphon, who was reportedly close to Narissa. Investigators believe Songpol acted out of intense jealousy after learning of Narissa's relationship with another man. According to witness statements, Songpol allegedly waited in his vehicle and pursued the victims on their motorcycle after they left their home, before intentionally colliding with them. At the scene, the Honda PCX motorcycle ridden by the victims sustained severe front-end damage. Songpol's pickup truck also suffered significant frontal damage, with structural integrity compromised up to the engine compartment. The truck was observed to have a sticker from a rescue foundation affixed to it. Investigators have interviewed four witnesses and gathered evidence, leading to the decision to seek an arrest warrant for intentional homicide within the next one to two days. Songpol is currently under medical care, with reports indicating he has sustained a ruptured liver. Furthermore, methamphetamine and ecstasy were discovered inside the victims' motorcycle.
