Phnom Penh's Por Sen Chey district authorities, in cooperation with Kanaciti Company, have demolished fences to widen a road, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion and improve public access in the area.
In Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh, road expansion work is underway in the Por Sen Chey district to improve traffic convenience and alleviate congestion for local residents. On July 2, 2026, under the direction of Deputy District Governor Pang Lida, authorities collaborated with Kanaciti Company to dismantle fences located on the company's premises. The road in question had been narrow, causing inconvenience for many residents. The administration of Por Sen Chey district received requests from residents, particularly in Chom Chao 2 commune, for broader road infrastructure. In response, the district administration requested Kanaciti Company to remove fences adjacent to the road to facilitate its widening.
