Vietnam Honors War Veterans and Contributors Across the Nation

Across Vietnam, commemorative events honoring war veterans and national contributors are unfolding nationwide. On July 26th, in Hanoi, the "Vì ta có tâm hồn đẹp" (For We Have Beautiful Souls) volunteer group organized a gratitude program and presented gifts to former soldiers and Agent Orange victims at the Vietnam Peace Village. These activities, held ahead of the 79th War Invalids and Martyrs' Day on July 27th, reflect a growing national sentiment of appreciation for those who have contributed to the nation. In Thanh Hoa province, numerous memorial activities have been conducted, showing respect for fallen soldiers and national contributors. The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union also visited and presented gifts to national contributors in Nghe An province. Furthermore, in the "land of fire" region of Xuan Loc, gratitude was expressed towards those who contributed to the revolution. These initiatives underscore Vietnam's strong commitment to remembering and passing on the legacies of those who dedicated themselves to nation-building and defense. In recent years, the Vietnamese government has also expanded the scope of recognition for war invalids and national contributors, demonstrating an enhanced commitment to honoring their merits.
