Medan Residents Can Now Apply for Passports During Car Free Day with New Immigration Initiative

The Immigration Office Class II TPI Belawan has introduced an innovative immigration service program called 'Pasporia' (Happy Passport) during the car free day (CFD) event held on Jalan Sumatera, Belawan I, Medan Belawan, Medan City. This service offers an alternative for residents who find it difficult to manage passport applications during weekdays. Through the Pasporia program, the public can still access immigration services optimally on weekends without disrupting their work schedules. This activity also serves as a platform for socialization and dissemination of information regarding immigration services. During its implementation, applicants are required to bring original and photocopied supporting documents to expedite the file verification process. All service stages, from document verification, interviews, to biometric data collection, are conducted in an orderly and smooth manner according to applicable standard operating procedures. Head of Immigration Office Class II TPI Belawan, Eko Yudis Parlin Rajagukguk, accompanied Commander Kodaeral I Belawan Rear Admiral TNI Deny Septiana, Acting Mayor of Medan Rico Tri Putra Bayu Waas, and other Forkopimda elements while reviewing the Pasporia Service booth. The delegation directly appreciated the provision of public services outside the office.
