Rupiah Nears 18,000 Against Dollar Amid Domestic Sentiment Woes

Further pressure on the Rupiah comes from Fitch Ratings' projection that Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves in 2026 will only be able to finance approximately 4.9 months of its current account external payment needs.
