State Administration Council Chairman Min Aung Hlaing visited the Emerald Buddha inside the Thai Royal Palace. State Administration Council Chairman Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official visit to Thailand at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, visited the Thai Royal Palace on the morning of this day (August 7) and paid homage to the Emerald Buddha (Temple of Emerald Buddha) located within the palace grounds. At the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, the Myanmar delegation led by State Administration Council Chairman Min Aung Hlaing is on an official visit to Thailand from August 6 to 7. During the visit, State Administration Council Chairman Min Aung Hlaing held separate talks with Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and conducted discussions between Myanmar and Thailand. Furthermore, officials accompanying State Administration Council Chairman Min Aung Hlaing on the trip and Thai officials exchanged documents between Myanmar and Thailand. Similarly, State Administration Council Chairman Min Aung Hlaing attended the Myanmar-Thailand Economic Forum 2026 and delivered a keynote speech.
