It is known that efforts are being made to expand the operation of EV buses in necessary locations within Tatkon, Lewe, Ywatoe, and Nay Pyi Taw city areas. In order to facilitate the travel of citizens, staff, and students within Nay Pyi Taw city, the Razarmyn High-Class Passenger Transport Line is operating EV buses, and efforts are being made in cooperation with relevant departments to expand their operation to necessary locations within Tatkon, Lewe, Ywatoe, and Nay Pyi Taw city areas. The city EV bus service starts from Nay Pyi Taw Central Market and runs through the 1000-bed hospital, Kainkone Housing, Thapyaygone Market, Seinpan Guest House, Zabu Thiri Hospital, Punna Pyi Roundabout, Elephant Statue Roundabout, and Rose Roundabout to the Bogalay Gate. The fare is 1000 kyats per person, regardless of the boarding and alighting points. The EV bus currently operating in the city has 36 seats and 20 handrails for standing passengers, and can safely transport up to 56 passengers. Fare payment must be self-deposited into the designated box, and the stop alarm (bell button) must be pressed to notify the driver upon reaching the desired alighting point.
