Vietnamese PM Directs Resolution of Medical Supply Bottlenecks
Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has instructed relevant ministries to swiftly address issues such as medical equipment shortages and drug supply delays in healthcare facilities. On the afternoon of September 8, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung chaired a working session with the Ministry of Health and relevant ministries and sectors concerning two draft laws: the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Examination and Treatment and the Law on Pharmaceuticals; and the draft Law on Food Safety (amended). Prime Minister Le Minh Hung emphasized the need to resolve issues such as shortages of equipment in medical facilities and delays in drug supply. He instructed the relevant ministries to accelerate the review and approval process for these legal amendments. The meeting underscored the government's commitment to improving the healthcare system and ensuring the availability of essential medicines for the public.
