Singer Vy Oanh Debuts Latin Pop MV, Embracing a New Image

Vietnamese singer Vy Oanh has released a music video (MV) for her new song "Balayah," featuring a Latin Pop style and a sensual image. The song was co-written by Vy Oanh and composer Luu Thien Huong, with Vy Oanh also penning the lyrics. Through the song, Vy Oanh narrates the story of a woman who has experienced many ups and downs, conveying a positive spirit and encouraging listeners to step out of their comfort zones. The MV also features Vy Oanh performing choreography with the Phương Việt Dance Crew. The entire production process, from recording and dance practice to filming, took nearly two weeks to complete. To keep up with current trends, Vy Oanh enlisted a team to help realize her ideas. Now 41 years old, she feels this is the opportune moment for a change, drawing from her accumulated life experiences. Previously, she was associated with a gentle image through ballads like "Đồng xanh" (composed by Duong Khac Linh and Hoang Huy Long) and "Để cho em khóc" (composed by Phuc Truong). Beyond her role as a singer, Vy Oanh has also been involved in the MV production process, aiming to cultivate an image as a versatile entertainer. Born in 1985 in Binh Thuan province (formerly Lam Dong), Vy Oanh studied at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. She possesses a sweet vocal quality and previously garnered attention for investing billions of Vietnamese dong in MVs such as "Đồng xanh," "Fly," and "Để cho em khóc." In addition to singing, she runs a YouTube channel for children and is involved in the health and beauty business sectors.
