Prabowo Urges New Civil Servants to Be Present in Times of Public Hardship

President Prabowo Subianto attended and delivered a speech at the graduation ceremony for the 33rd cohort of the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) Pamong Praja Muda (PPM). The ceremony was held at the Parade Field within the IPDN campus in Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency, West Java. President Prabowo emphasized the importance for the new civil servants to be present and by the side of citizens when they face hardship. He further expressed his expectation that they will become a reliable pillar of support for the community. This directive suggests the President's emphasis on unity with the public, advocating for civil servants to be closely involved in the lives of citizens and share in their difficulties. Civil servants in Indonesia play a crucial role as intermediaries between the central government and local governments, contributing to regional development and resident services. IPDN is a national higher education institution that trains such personnel, and its graduates are assigned to local governments across the country.
