Mekong River Water Levels Surge, Flood Alert Issued in Cambodia
Cambodia's Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has forecast a sharp rise in Mekong River water levels over the next 3-4 days, attributing it to heavy rainfall in upstream countries influenced by a tropical depression. Residents along the river, particularly in Stung Treng, Kratie, and Kampong Cham provinces, are urged to exercise high vigilance.
