Cambodian National Assembly President to Visit Vietnam for Official Friendship Visit

Her Excellency Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high-level parliamentary delegation on an official and friendship visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from July 27 to 29, 2026. This visit is made at the invitation of His Excellency Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, with the aim of further strengthening and deepening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, both within the framework of legislative and executive institutions, based on the spirit of "good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability." During the visit, Her Excellency the President of the National Assembly is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on His Excellency To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of Vietnam. She will also hold bilateral discussions with His Excellency Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, and pay a courtesy call on His Excellency Le Minh Hung, Prime Minister of Vietnam. Concurrently, at the level of specialized committees of the National Assemblies of both countries, members of the delegation accompanying Her Excellency the President of the National Assembly will hold bilateral discussions with their Vietnamese counterparts to share information and exchange experiences. In addition, the high-level Cambodian parliamentary delegation, led by Her Excellency the President of the National Assembly, is scheduled to visit key locations in Vietnam, including industrial zones, cultural and tourism areas, and hospitals. This is intended to connect people-to-people relations and to strengthen the commercial, tourism, cultural, and healthcare sectors, thereby serving the greater interests of the peoples of both countries.
