Tay Ninh Province Boosts Growth Through Power Infrastructure Enhancement

Tay Ninh Province in southern Vietnam is prioritizing the enhancement of its power infrastructure to support the region's sustained economic growth. The province is making the resolution of issues within key power generation and transmission projects its top priority to meet the increasing electricity demand. Specifically, the plan is to secure clean power sources by accelerating the construction of the Long An I and II LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) thermal power plants, while simultaneously advancing the development of the transmission network infrastructure. This aims to establish energy security and further promote regional economic development. Vietnam's electricity demand is growing year by year with its rapid economic growth, and a stable power supply is crucial for industrial development. Tay Ninh Province's efforts can be seen as part of the response to these national challenges. Vietnam Electricity (EVNNPC) is also taking steps to stabilize power supply, including the completion of projects to install Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Furthermore, the promotion of rooftop solar power and a renewed emphasis on the importance of energy saving are spreading, indicating a strengthening trend across Vietnam to transition to green energy and promote sustainable energy policies.
