US National Arrested in Bangkok After Attacking Police Officer Following Shoplifting Incident

A 29-year-old American national was arrested in Bangkok after allegedly shoplifting from a convenience store and slashing a responding Thai police officer's neck with a box cutter. The suspect tested positive for methamphetamine.
