Thailand's Ambassador to Myanmar to be appointed as Mr. Soraral

The government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has agreed to the proposal by the government of the Kingdom of Thailand to appoint Mr. Soraral to replace Mr. Monkhunwichitstan as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, it was announced on July 23. Mr. Soraral was born on March 3, 1975, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in German from Chulalongkorn University, a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Ramkhamhaeng University, and a Master of Arts in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. Mr. Soraral began his service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand in 1996 and has served in various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney, and the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest. He is currently serving as Consul-General at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Los Angeles.
