Cambodia's Takeo Province Opens Lower Secondary School Diploma Exams
Lower secondary school diploma exams have commenced in Bori Chalsar District, Takeo Province, Cambodia. The district governor visited the examination center, delivering words of encouragement to both candidates and invigilators, emphasizing the need for fair and smooth exam administration.
The opening ceremony for the Lower Secondary School Diploma Examination was held in Bori Chalsar District, Takeo Province, southern Cambodia. On July 6, 2026, the examination, held at the Sok An Doung Khpu Bori Chalsar High School, was officially declared open by Mr. Su Phirom, Governor of Bori Chalsar District, accompanied by examination officials. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor of the District, the Deputy Director of the District Administration, officials from the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports, commune chiefs, school principals, and numerous teachers serving as examination committee members and invigilators. Governor Su Phirom conveyed the regards and deep concern for the education sector from the leadership of Takeo Province to the examination committee and all candidates. He urged the candidates to strive to the best of their abilities, utilize the knowledge acquired through their studies, and strictly adhere to the examination regulations, emphasizing the principle that "those who know will pass." Furthermore, Governor Su Phirom instructed the examination committee, invigilators, and relevant security forces to diligently fulfill their duties with a high sense of responsibility, fairness, and transparency to ensure the smooth, successful, and orderly conduct of the examinations. He also offered words of encouragement to all students, urging them to exert their utmost effort in the exam to achieve success and advance to the next level of education, namely upper secondary school. Following his remarks, Governor Su Phirom inspected the examination rooms, observing that the candidates were undertaking the examination with calmness, dignity, and confidence in their respective abilities. He expressed profound gratitude to the security forces, medical teams, and all relevant authorities for their cooperation in safeguarding security, order, and safety at each examination center, contributing to the successful outcome of the examination session as planned.
