Cambodia Cracks Down on Illegal Fishing Gear to Protect Aquatic Resources

In Cambodia's Kampong Thom province, the Provincial Department of Fisheries and security forces have collaborated to dismantle illegal fishing gear in two districts as part of efforts to protect aquatic resources and combat illegal fishing. Two operations resulted in the confiscation and destruction of numerous illegal fishing devices, with fish released back into natural waters.
