Hai Phong Concludes Techfest 2026 Showcasing AI, Robotics, Smart Port Innovations

Techfest Hai Phong 2026, the annual science, technology, and innovation event of Hai Phong city, concluded on August 5th. Under the theme “Convergence of Wisdom – Sailing Towards Innovation,” the event featured 150 exhibition booths in the "5 Technology Ports Journey" space. According to Le Luong Thinh, Deputy Director of the Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology, the festival showcased over 1,000 breakthrough innovative technologies and solutions in fields such as AI, Big Data, smart ports, automation, logistics, biotechnology, and green economy. Notably, the latest global robot technology and UAV technology were demonstrated for the first time at Techfest Hai Phong. The exhibition and connection space attracted strong interest, welcoming over 3,000 direct participants and tens of thousands of followers on the digital exhibition platform techfesthaiphong.vn. The event gathered delegates and businesses from over 20 provinces and cities, along with international partners from 8 countries, including Singapore, South Korea, China, Italy, Japan, and Spain. Two forums, two connection sessions, and one workshop attracted 700 delegates and were held actively. Many presentations offered recommendations for innovation activities, and discussion sessions proposed contributions to the innovation ecosystem. Le Luong Thinh stated that the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong city is committed to continuing its role as a core connector, advising city leadership on implementing effective special mechanisms, and providing maximum support for businesses and scientists to cooperate and develop. The department will also maximize the role of the provincial-level innovation startup support center as a common address to assist and promote innovative projects to mature and develop appropriately.
