Cambodia Gas Prices Rise Again, Raising Concerns for Citizens

The Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia has announced new retail fuel prices, which will be effective until October 1, 2026. Under the new pricing, regular gasoline will cost 5250 Riel per liter, and diesel will be priced at 6100 Riel per liter. This price adjustment is set to be implemented at fuel stations nationwide starting from 1:00 PM on September 21, 2026. The increase in prices, following previous announcements, has raised concerns about the economic impact on the daily lives of citizens. Cambodia's economy is currently facing inflationary pressures and fluctuations in global energy prices.
