Digital Services Bring Transformation Closer to People

Nearly two years after the Politburo issued Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on December 22, 2024, on breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation, localities have been focusing on solutions that address specific needs and deliver tangible benefits. The resolution serves as a strong guideline for Vietnam to prioritize science and technology for national development, promote innovation, and accelerate the transition to a digital society. In Cao Bang province's remote highlands, the implementation of a two-tier administration model has brought digital services closer to the lives of residents. This allows residents in areas previously facing difficulties accessing administrative services due to geographical constraints or lack of infrastructure to receive services more quickly and easily. This initiative is a significant step towards Vietnam's goal of "convenient, fast, secure digital services by 2030." Digital technology is also proving effective in narrowing the gaps in governance and public services. By bridging the digital divide between urban and rural areas, or by income level, it is expected to contribute to the realization of a fairer society. The Vietnamese government aims to improve the quality of life for every citizen through digital transformation.
