In Sihanoukville, Cambodia, the body of a man who went missing on July 20, 2026, while spearfishing has been discovered. According to the front-line command post of the National Committee for Maritime Security, a search operation was launched at 6:30 AM on July 22, 2026. A team of eight personnel, led by Deputy Commander of the Intervention Naval Force, Commander Kub Pin, utilized two boats in their search for the victim, identified as Phan Sokheng, a 32-year-old male. Mr. Sokheng had disappeared while diving to catch fish under Koh Puos Bridge on July 20, 2026. At 7:35 AM on July 22, 2026, the front-line command post forces located the victim's body at coordinates Lat: 10°33’18″N, Long: 103°33’21″E, near O'Tres Bridge. Currently, the body has been handed over to the relevant authorities, specialized officials, and a medical team for examination before being released to the victim's family and relatives for traditional funeral rites.
