Cambodia Ministry of Information Visits Retired Officials, Offers Support

The Ministry of Information of Cambodia has visited two retired officials to express gratitude for their significant contributions to the nation's information sector. This initiative reflects the ministry's culture of deep care and appreciation for former civil servants who have dedicated years to public service. On September 18, 2026, Mrs. Tuy Siri Ratanak Netra Paktra, Honorary President of the Cambodian Women's Association for Peace and Development (Ministry of Information Branch), and representing H.E. Netra Paktra, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Cambodian Information Sector Veterans and Retirees Association, led a delegation. The group included H.E. Son Marada, Secretary of State and member of the Association, along with several leaders and members of the Secretariat. They visited Mrs. Sii Kim Yeang, a former official of the General Directorate of Radio National Cambodia (RNK), and Mr. Kim Sarom, a former official of the General Secretariat. During the cordial meeting, Mrs. Tuy Siri Ratanak Netra Paktra conveyed the Minister's profound regards and gratitude for the retirees' dedication and immense contributions to advancing Cambodia's information and audiovisual sectors. The team also explained the procedures for registering as a member of the Retirees Association, aiming to strengthen relationships and ensure former civil servants receive ongoing care and support.
