Yadea Launches GT80 Electric Motorcycle in Indonesia with 190 Km Range

YADEA Indonesia has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of its latest electric motorcycle, the Yadea GT80. Unveiled online via TikTok under the theme "Born to Dominate" and tagline "Grand Touring, Beyond Darkness," the model is positioned as a premium electric motorcycle targeting the Indonesian market. The GT80 is designed to combine aggressive aesthetics, powerful performance, and smart technology to meet contemporary mobility demands. It emphasizes a Grand Touring style, offering comfort not only for daily commutes but also for long-distance journeys. The motorcycle features an aerodynamic body with sharp lines, intended to reduce wind resistance and enhance stability across various road conditions. Its front profile is characterized by sharp, blade-like curves, while the tapered rear lamp design evokes a predator-like stance. In line with its "Beyond Darkness" tagline, the GT80 is equipped with a high-intensity Full LED lighting system for optimal nighttime visibility. Beyond its design, the electric motorcycle integrates a suite of safety and modern features, including Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Hill Hold Control (HHC), Reverse Mode, Cruise Control, Combined Braking System (CBS), and Map Mirroring. Furthermore, an optional Dual Battery configuration allows the GT80 to achieve a cruising power of up to 190 kilometers, as per WMTC testing standards. "The combination of aggressive design, maximum lighting and smart features makes the GT80 stand out while increasing the sense of safety for riders," stated Andy Luo, Yadea Indonesia VP and GM of Sales and Marketing. The Yadea GT80 is priced at IDR 29.8 million (approximately USD 1,830) on the road in Indonesia. The Dual Battery variant is available for an additional IDR 6 million (approximately USD 370). Yadea offers the GT80 in four premium color options: Electric Red, Royal Blue, Solo Gray, and Glossy Black, all designed to present a blend of sporty, elegant, and modern nuances. With the introduction of the GT80, Yadea reaffirms its commitment to delivering high-tech electric vehicles that cater to the mobility needs of Indonesians, setting a new standard for smart electric motorcycles for long-distance travel.
