Cambodian People's Party Strengthens Organization and Youth Development for 2027 Commune Council Elections

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) is accelerating efforts to strengthen its organization and foster youth development in anticipation of the upcoming 6th mandate Commune and Sangkat Council elections scheduled for 2027. On July 11, Mr. Chhay Borin, a member of the CPP Central Committee and Chairman of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Cults and Religions, presided over a ceremony to endorse standing committee members and committee members of the Ministry of Cults and Religions Party. He also conveyed directives regarding priority tasks for 2026. This meeting was held as part of the CPP's youth wing's efforts to bolster its activities leading up to the 2027 local elections. Mr. Chhay Borin conveyed messages from Samdech Techo (Prime Minister) and Samdech Thipadey (Deputy Prime Minister), emphasizing the continuous concern for party members and cadres and the importance of solidarity. He also congratulated the newly endorsed standing committee members and committee members for their contributions to national social construction. Furthermore, Mr. Chhay Borin urged party members to accurately understand the needs of the people, ensure social safety and order, eliminate negative aspects within society, and disseminate correct understanding and adherence to party directives among the populace.
