The National Unity Government (NUG) -In Kantbalu Township of Sagaing Region, the People’s Security Force caught 2 men who had allegedly attempted to sell narcotic drugs to the junta army and Pyusawti Militia. -On the 64th anniversary of the July 7 student uprising, the NUG sent a statement, calling to proceed with diligence until the emergence of a federal democratic union based on human rights, equality and self-determination. -Out of the funding earned from the show of Pyone Pyone Lay film by revolutionary artists, 600 lakh MMK was donated to the Interim Government of Magway Federal Unit. -On the 64th anniversary of the July 7 student uprising, Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw released a statement, calling on all the forces to unitedly join hands to end successive military dictatorship throughout history. -Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that the Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union had been coordinating with respective stakeholders for the establishment of a transitional justice system. Revolution Activities -Ma Moe San Suu Kyi, who had been sentenced to 6-year imprisonment and who had fully served her time, was sentenced to another 5 years in prison under Article (52A) of Anti-Terrorism Law. -In Kalay of Sagaing Region, the Local Strike Committee carried out a public movement on the anniversary of the July 7 Uprising, chanting slogans. -In Kani Township of Sagaing Region, revolutionary forces attacked the fleet of the junta’s vessels streaming up the Chindwin River. -In Magway Region, the junta army demolished the statues of General Aung San in Yezagyo and Kamma on Sunday night. -In Mindat Township of Chin State, the junta army has conducted excessive airstrikes. On Monday night, a woman lost her life due to the junta’s powerful bombs. -At some crowded places in Yangon amidst the junta’s tight security, revolutionary youths conducted a movement on the 64th anniversary of the July 7 Student Uprising. -In Sagaing Region, a combined rally of Yinmabin-Salingyi and Salingyi Township Interim Public School-NUG organized an event on the 64th anniversary of the July 7 Student Uprising. Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) -In Yekyi Township of Ayeyarwady Region, some junta soldiers ran away during battles in which the Arakan Army had seized 2 junta security outposts. Reportedly, the AA was after them and confiscated dead bodies along with weapons. -The New Mon State Party (Anti-Military Dictatorship) Ramonnya Mon Army carried out a tree planting event on World Planting Day for environmental conservation and local greenery. -In Kachin State, 2 local people lost their lives and 2 others were injured in Weilone Village on Hpakant-Indawgyi Road as a drunk member of Kachin Independence Army opened gunfire. The Military Junta -The governor of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the junta’s governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar met at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in Moscow, the Russian Federation, on 29 June to discuss issues related to banking cooperation between Myanmar and Russia. -The junta’s National Solidarity and Peacemaking Central Committee met with the Karen National Union/Karen National Liberation Army-Peace Council (KNU/KNLA-PC). Reportedly, they discussed transport, trade flow and local security. -The junta’s Deputy Minister for Construction Myo Myint instructed to make necessary repairs and maintenance to the road sections and bridges damaged on the Falam-Hakha Road during local battles. -The junta’s Deputy Minister for Education Nay Myo Hlaing said that they are actively collecting data on children in Myanmar who have not enrolled for school and they are also making an effort for the schooling of those children. -The junta’s Minister for Rakhine Ethnic Affairs in Yangon Region claimed that action had been taken against 10 travel and tour companies for poor responsibility and accountability despite their official license. -According to the junta media, tax exemptions on diesel, LNG and fertilizer imports were extended for one more month.
