Cambodia Red Cross Donates $100,000 to Nepal Flood Relief

Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, has decided to donate $100,000 (one hundred thousand US dollars) to support humanitarian operations by the Nepal Red Cross in response to the devastating flood disaster on the Nepal-China border. This assistance will be channeled through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The decision comes in response to an appeal from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. President Bun Rany Hun Sen expressed profound shock and grief over the natural disaster, which occurred on August 26, 2026. The floods resulted in over 1,000 deaths, thousands missing, and the evacuation of over 10,000 residents to safe zones, causing severe damage to property and critical infrastructure.
