13 More Remains of Martyrs Found, Collected in Quang Tri Province - Search Operations Intensify

Thirteen sets of martyrs' remains have been newly discovered and collected in Quang Tri Province, central Vietnam. This activity is part of the '500-Day-Night Campaign' aimed at accelerating the search, collection, and identification of martyrs' remains. As of August 4, a joint team from the provincial Military Command and relevant units conducted search operations in the Cau Nhi area of Nam Hai Lang commune, Quang Tri Province, discovering 13 sets of remains. Previously, five sets of remains and numerous personal effects were found in Huong Lap commune, and an additional three sets of remains were discovered in the Cau Nhi area. These remains serve as a testament to the sacrifices of countless soldiers during the Vietnam War (1954-1975) and are part of the state's significant efforts to honor martyrs and their families. The Military Region 4 Command has also organized events to commemorate these heroes and express gratitude to the remains collection teams. Quang Trị Province was one of the regions that experienced intense fighting during the Vietnam War, and it is believed that many martyrs' remains are still buried there, yet to be found. The '500-Day-Night Campaign' is being implemented nationwide under government leadership, with the goal of identifying lost soldiers and returning them to their families. This endeavor is crucial for fulfilling the nation's historical responsibilities and strengthening national unity.
