An official from the Ko Pu Tu and Borders Social Assistance Association said that when the floods began in Le Myar Nar Township, neighbors had gone to call the deceased to evacuate, but she did not come along. It is also reported that the body of the deceased woman was transported free of charge to Hinthada People's Hospital by the Metta Thita Waterway Nirvana Vehicle. Social rescue organizations reported that flooding and submersion are occurring in many areas of Le Myar Nar Township, Ayeyarwady Region, where the Ngwun Dam has broken and floods are occurring, and the water had not yet receded as of the evening of August 3.
