Central Bank Governor Dr. Khin Naing Oo said the bank remains focused on maintaining price stability, strengthening the financial system, and improving payment and settlement systems. The discussions covered three main topics: expanding digital payments, strengthening monetary policy and exchange rate stability, and building a stable financial system. Participants exchanged views on improving digital payment services, promoting cross-border payment connectivity, supporting exchange rate stability, and strengthening banking supervision in line with international standards.
