Cambodian Cyclist Completes Global Journey to Raise Funds for Children
Cambodian adventurer cyclist Tiv Tararith has successfully completed a two-year global cycling mission, raising over $260,000 for Cambodian children. He traveled 60,000 kilometers across 40 countries.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia – July 21, 2026 – H.E. Net Pheaktra, Minister of Information, received Mr. Tiv Tararith, an independent adventurer cyclist from Cambodia, for a courtesy call and to offer encouragement following the successful completion of his global cycling mission to raise funds for Cambodian children. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Information on the afternoon of July 21, 2026. Mr. Tiv Tararith's extraordinary two-year mission, themed "Cycling Around the World for Cambodian Children," aimed to raise funds for humanitarian causes. He traveled a total distance of 60,000 kilometers, traversing 40 countries. Through his dedicated efforts, Mr. Tiv Tararith successfully raised USD 260,243.57. The funds generated from this mission will be donated to Angkor Hospital for Children and the Kantha Bopha Foundation of Cambodia, to support and sustain the medical examination, treatment, and healthcare of Cambodian children. During the occasion, H.E. Net Pheaktra praised Mr. Tiv Tararith's spirit of sacrifice and commitment to contributing to the nation, especially for the well-being of Cambodian children. The Minister also encouraged Mr. Tiv Tararith to continue his mission for the cause of Cambodian children in the future.
