Kratie Province to Enhance Scenery with Statues of Dolphins, Jaguars, and More Along Mekong River

Kratie Province is planning to install statues along the Mekong River and at various roundabouts to transform its appearance and enhance its attractiveness. Local residents have expressed their support for these statue projects, including those at the "Charging Tiger" roundabout and those on both sides of the Mekong River bridge. According to sources from the provincial administration, provincial leaders recently held a meeting to gather input for the preparation and installation of statues along the riverbanks and at roundabouts within the province. These include the "Charging Tiger" roundabout, roundabouts on both sides of the Mekong River bridge, the provincial hall roundabout, the riverside park, and the Snuol district roundabout. The planned statues include a dolphin spouting water at the riverbank, a roundabout with three dolphins, a pair of male and female jaguars at a roundabout, a roundabout featuring cashews, and a statue of the mermaid Neang Machcha. These statues are intended to represent the geography of the respective districts within Kratie Province.
