Laos has participated in a high-level meeting marking the 5th anniversary of China's Global Development Initiative (GDI), signaling the nation's engagement with the initiative. The gathering underscored the importance of systematic planning within China's political and economic frameworks, particularly in the advancement of "socialism with Chinese characteristics." Attendees deliberated on the necessity of structured planning, referencing China's "Five-Sphere Integrated Plan" and "Four-Pronged Comprehensive Strategy."
