Philippines Eyes 2027 Budget Revision for Enhanced Flood Control and Infrastructure

Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon has clarified that proposed changes to the Philippines' 2027 national budget would primarily target flood control projects, but also extend benefits to other infrastructure sectors. Dizon explained during an ambush interview at the Batasang Pambansa complex that flood control projects would form a crucial pillar of the nationwide infrastructure development plan.
