Habagat Ends, ITCZ to Bring Rain to Parts of PH
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) announced the official end of the southwest monsoon, or habagat, season. However, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to continue bringing rain to parts of the country due to a strengthening high-pressure system.
