Boy Missing on Long Xuyen River Found Deceased in An Giang

In Long Xuyen city, An Giang province, southern Vietnam, the body of a young boy (born 2015, identified as Đ.M.T.) who had gone missing while playing by the river was discovered on July 25. Local authorities reported that the boy's remains were found and recovered after several hours of search operations along the banks of the Long Xuyen River. This tragic incident once again brings to the forefront the severe issue of child drowning accidents in Vietnam, particularly those occurring in rivers and ponds.
