Cambodia Strengthens Propaganda and Education Efforts in Provincial Party Organizations

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) has reaffirmed the importance of the roles and duties of propaganda and education committees within its party organizations in each province and capital city nationwide, and has directed the strengthening of their activities. This directive is understood to aim at more effectively penetrating the party's ideology at the local level and enhancing its public information dissemination capabilities. The CPP emphasized that the propaganda and education committees play a crucial role in accurately conveying the party's policies and directions to the public, thereby gaining their understanding and support. It was particularly recognized that in rural areas, the propaganda activities of party organizations, which have direct contact with the people, are indispensable for strengthening the party's foundation. This directive may reflect the party's central leadership's judgment that it is necessary to strengthen the party's ideological leadership to maintain social stability and national unity as Cambodia pursues economic development. Furthermore, with the advancement of the information society in recent years, the ability to effectively disseminate the party's official messages and counter misinformation is also required amidst the circulation of diverse information. Through the activities of the propaganda and education committees, the CPP aims to improve the awareness of each party member, promote dialogue with the public, and deepen trust in the party.
