Vietnam Enhances Banking Service Access for People with Disabilities, Promotes Contactless Payments
The Vietnam Blind Association organized a technical meeting to discuss the current situation and solutions for improving banking service access for people with disabilities. The initiative also aims to promote contactless payments, expanding financial inclusion and social participation for this demographic.
On July 21 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Blind Association, in coordination with its directly affiliated Central Blind Branch, organized a technical meeting themed "Current Situation and Solutions to Enhance Banking Service Access for People with Disabilities." A cashless payment fair was also held in conjunction with the meeting. The initiative aims to pilot a model that supports people with disabilities and vulnerable groups by leveraging family and community support. AI is expanding opportunities for people with disabilities, and enhancing employment opportunities for them is also a focus. Ensuring equal access to banking services for people with disabilities is a key objective.
