This marks the third consecutive year of high recognition for her effective leadership of the central bank. Governor Chea Serey is listed among other distinguished central bank governors from countries with developed financial systems. Notable peers include Martin Schlegel, Governor of the Swiss National Bank; Khaled Mohamed Balama Al Tameemi, Governor of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (UAE); and Eli Remolona, Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines). Global Finance has published its annual ranking of central bank governors since 1994.
