Cambodia: Aid Distributed to 300 Needy Families in Siem Reap

In Siem Reap, Cambodia, aid packages from former Prime Minister Hun Sen and Prime Minister Hun Manet were distributed to 300 families facing hardship. The initiative, led by Mr. Sor Sophat, advisor to former PM Hun Sen and head of the humanitarian team for both leaders, took place on July 21, 2026. During the event, Mr. Sor Sophat conveyed the warm regards and deep concern of the former Prime Minister and his wife, as well as Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife, for the well-being and daily lives of the citizens. He emphasized the leadership's commitment, stating, "No citizen will be left to suffer from hunger without the authorities or leaders being aware." He assured that wherever difficulties arise, the humanitarian team and local authorities will be present to intervene and alleviate suffering promptly.
