In a statement on Tuesday, the BoC said the joint action plan will serve as the roadmap for the negotiation and implementation of the AEO MRA by outlining the activities, timelines, and responsibilities of both sides. Under the arrangement, the Philippines and Israel will undertake technical assessments, validation visits, and information exchanges before finalizing the MRA. “Once in place, the agreement will enable both customs administrations to mutually recognize each other’s AEO programs, allowing accredited traders to enjoy enhanced trade facilitation benefits,” the BoC said.
