Cambodia Deports 150 Chinese Nationals for Online Scams and Illegal Activities

Cambodian immigration authorities on August 5, 2026, deported 150 Chinese nationals, including 6 women, from Cambodia via the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport border gate. The deportation followed the authorities' discovery of their involvement in online scams, illegal residency, and unauthorized work in Cambodia. This operation to crack down on illegal foreign residents is in line with the strict orders and legal measures implemented by Cambodian leadership.
