MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Tuesday said it summoned the registered owner and driver of a vehicle that allegedly ran over and killed a minor in Pasig City. According to the LTO in a statement, both the registered owner and driver were directed to appear before the agency on Sept. 22. "We are taking this incident seriously and will ensure that justice is served for the victim and their family," the LTO said in its statement. The agency also reminded the public about the importance of road safety and urged drivers to be more responsible on the road.
