Information was received that on September 14, around 3 PM, a pagoda tree fell on University Garden Road in Kamayut Township, crushing two vehicles, and that relevant fire brigade and volunteer organizations went to the scene. "The tree fell due to the wind. Two cars were crushed. There were no casualties or injuries," said an official from the Future Light Volunteer Association, who was at the scene. Furthermore, according to the fire brigade's statement, a tree fell on Sane Gyi Street in Sane Gyi West Ward, Kyimyindine Township, and trees also fell on North Racecourse Road in Yangon Township and Yan Gyi Aung Road in Hmawbi Township.
