Kratie Province to Host High School Graduation Exams Across 5 Centers

The 2026 high school graduation exams in Kratie Province, Cambodia, are scheduled to take place on August 10th and 11th. A total of five examination centers have been established across the province, with two dedicated to science subjects and three for social science subjects. A total of 2,669 candidates are expected to sit for the exams in the province, with 1,447 of them being female. Additionally, there are 258 self-studying candidates (113 female). According to an official from the Kratie Provincial Department of Education, Youth, and Sports, the examination centers will comprise a total of 108 rooms. On the morning of August 3rd, many candidates were observed visiting the various examination centers in Kratie city to check their names and assigned locations. Ms. Heng Chanthoun, a 12th-grade student from Preah Mohaksatriyani Kosamak High School, stated that she is fully prepared as the examination date approaches. She expressed her determination to perform her best on the exams, aiming for an 80% pass rate, drawing from her experience of group supplementary studies in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidate Thong Ritthyreach from Sela Veyti Kiet Chhoun High School commented that the high school graduation exams this year are neither too difficult nor too easy. Physics is the subject he most anticipates performing well in. The young candidate shared his study experience, including time management, reviewing textbooks and doing practice exercises during free time, and dedicating one to two hours each night to assignments and reviewing lessons, with a particular focus on strengthening areas of weakness.
