23 PDF members rejoin under the law with weapons and ammunition at Southern Military Command

It is known that 23 PDF members have rejoined under the law with weapons and ammunition at the Southern Military Command. A ceremony was held on the morning of September 25 at the Southern Military Command to welcome and provide rewards to those who had been in organizations that were armed and resisting under various organizational names, including the PDF, and who have rejoined under the law with weapons and ammunition. Attendees at the ceremony included Southern Military Command Commander Major General Soe Kyaw Htet, Bago Region Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Nyi Laung Kyaw, officials from the Southern Military Command, PDF members who rejoined under the law, and their guardians. Southern Military Command Commander Major General Soe Kyaw Htet said, "Today's ceremony is a firm step towards the nation's peace and stability. Although you have gone astray, I want to wholeheartedly welcome all the young people who have realized the truth and rejoined under the law with weapons and ammunition." According to Southern Military Command Commander Major General Soe Kyaw Htet, within the Southern Military Command's territory, there have been 7 instances of individuals rejoining under the law to date, with a total of 125 males, 16 females, totaling 141 individuals, 49 assorted weapons, 69 assorted accessories, and 2587 assorted rounds of ammunition. Southern Military Command Commander Major General Soe Kyaw Htet stated, "The young people who have rejoined under the law at this ceremony have made courageous decisions with genuine goodwill for their lives, their families' futures, and the stability of the country." The Southern Military Command welcomed and honored the PDF trainees who have cooperated with the state government's de-escalation processes and officially handed them over to their guardians in a ceremony. Southern Military Command Commander Major General Soe Kyaw Htet urged the young people who have been handed over to ensure they do not make mistakes again in the future and to encourage the remaining youths who are still controlled by opposing organizations or are still on the wrong path to rejoin under the law quickly. Afterward, the 23 PDF members who rejoined under the law handed over the weapons and ammunition they brought with them to the Southern Military Command Commander and officials. Subsequently, the Southern Military Command Commander and officials presented honorariums to the 23 PDF members who rejoined under the law. It is known that today, the PDF members who rejoined under the law consisted of 21 males and 2 females, totaling 23 individuals, and they brought with them 6 weapons, 5 hand grenades, 10 magazines, and 234 rounds of ammunition.
